i have number of wim images using imagex deploy win7 system reserved partition. i have 2 wim's per os version, 1 system reserved partition, , system partition. i have created new set of wim images 64 bit deloyment, , when deploy them machine, system reserver partition empty, , machine not boot os. i have checked system reserved wim , compared other similar wim's have 32 bit installations, , seem identical (in terms of file names , folder structre). does know why deploy of wim (which completed out errors) blank, or resolve issue? you aren't supposed capture system reserved partition. when created, empty. need run bcdboot after deploying windows. presuming windows image stored in deployable state (you ran sysprep prior capture) windows create boot files in system reserved partition. hello all, my situation: single domain controller hp proliant ml310 g5 (latest drivers , firmware) windows server 2003 r2 service pack 2, post-sp2 updates installed. 20 clients: windows xp 30 clients: windows 7 1 network printer group policy’s, shared folders , printing working fine should. last week looking @ “net statistics server” , “workstation” output. noticed “sessions errored-out” higher “ sessions timed-out” i know number of sessions have timed-out included in number of sessions have errored out. everytime client reboots “sessions errored-out” getting higher. after rebooting the server (running few hours) net statistics server sessions timed-out:   27 sessions errored-out: 120 net statistics workstation failed operations: 0 (sometimes 1 or 2)                          use count: 70                                     failed use count: 1 swapped switches, disabled group policy’s, tested server server nic , ran 2003 network packet an

3 years ago, created 2x 1 tb partitions our file server on our san. next made them available our file server host running on windows server 2008 r2 server , set 2 drives stripped volume. getting short on space , need add more space , if try add additional 500gb of space, not allow me. i think because stripped volume , not spanned volume. wondering, how can add additional space stripped volume? if cannot, can convert stripped volume spanned volume without losing data? or other options around this? once a stiped volume created, cannot add more space becuase cannot extend striped volume or mirror it.  , cannot convert spanned one. suggestion backup the date 2tb drive first, create new striped volume on 2 * 1tb + 500gb . technet subscriber support |if have feedback on technet forum, please contact tnmff@microsoft.com. dear experts, i have created  user account active directory connected username , password on  windows 7  machine  and gave administrative rights when laptop  was connected lan  i able install software's laptop in   , it's not connected to domain  and when user tried install software  saying need administrator account. the laptop  also has 2 local user names  and domain user local users   (administrator , support) , login computer remotely to enable built in administrator account  which disabled default  and unable enable  because says access denied can't create new local user account.  i have tried login machine using local user accounts (support has administrative rights ) , typed  fred-tosh\support  computers says there no login servers available  so please me sort-out issue. why local users saying "t here no login servers available " because support user not domain user it's local user has administrative rights  please me solve problem.

i have 2008r2 domain win7 clients. have 1 client has been having trouble months.  has tried 4 different computers , when computer boots let sit 30 seconds , still gets "username or password incorrect"  gets error time , our helpdesk has tried forcing different passwords have set, etc.  if disconnects network connection, logs in fine every time , reconnects network , works.  cached credentails work, , other weird thing when gets username of passwd incorrect, query domain controllers , not show bad attempts , last bad passwd times remain unchanged.  have looked through every setting in account tab , have no ideas.  thinking time might incorrect in bios , fixed when windows time service, checked of , looks correct.  if reboots , continues retry lets in.  ideas?  have gone through of logs when has failed attempt , not seeing in there windows time service not finding source, etc or can explain why failing.  security log , system log 100% clean on computer nothing in eith

hi there, our terminal server running on server 2008 working fine till today users started have error while visiting remote desktop via https://server.mydomain.co m  ****the remote session disconnected because license store creation failed access denied******* on windows 8.1.  the clients using windows 7 fine.  i have checked logs, no clue.  i thought may license management through light, fine.  i have fear had 40 licenses (user cal) our terminal server licenses management gives no clue.                                 points note:                               - if licensing issue why windows 7 machines have no error.                               - tried run this:  no luck, says not apply os: http://support.microsoft.c om/kb/2782 802                               -have no idea 1 pick here: http://technet.microsoft.c om/en-us/l ibrary/ cc7 56826(v=ws .10).aspx                               -cannot find mslicensing key here: http://www.windowsclever.c om/windo
