hi, some application created around 16 000 000 txt files directly on root of c: drive. after when os has been restarted, didn't boot correctly anymore. there error: "an operating system wasn't found...". , story beginning. i tried every method know repair os included: checkdisk, bcdedit, bcdboot, bootrec (also delete old bcd , create new , create second partition , write new bcd pointed first partition), sfc /scannow, dism... error still existing. can't use auto repair method because don't have access source of installation. can restore os - vm - it's working till next restart. could give me tip try repair this? i have new information: after chkdsk c: /b , sfc /scannow both found , repair errors, windows server 2008 r2 repair console found following error: root cause found: no os files found on disk. repair actionl partition table repait result: failed. error code = 0x490. could please check if can give me tip solve issue? something h

currently have iscsi connectivity our nas , 2 nics setup in round robin fashion our connectivity nas. both nics 1gig iscsi connections have setup our iscsi , witness (quorum) disk cluster shared volumes on our windows 2008 data center servers. 2 node csv. now making change , have installed 10gig nic in our server. want make sure our primary iscsi connection on 10gig nic , our witness (quorum) connection on old 1gig connection. indicate me should not using roudn robin on iscsi more. hi, yes, can separate network of quorum lun , data lun, acceptable. if so, need create 2 mpio. 1 1gb’s network , 1 or 10gb’s network, don’t mix them in 1 mpio. i have brand new server server 2003 standard (replacing older box server 2003 std).  set scratch, including windows updates.   copied data old server (the hard way via external hard drive intermediary).  started installing printers, of working on old server.   first installed hp2100 series built in jetdirect printserver, next hp 1200 connected external jetdirect, km bizhub 353 color printer/scanner/copier.  in cases, used same ip addresses had on old server.  in each case, printed test page server successfully.  when started next printer, km bizhub 600, first noticed there might problem, installation program not find printers, when provided ip address.  i cancelled install , got error: "microsoft visual c++ runtime library buffer overrun detected! program: c:\windows\system32\spoolsv.exe a buffer overrun has been detected has corrupted program's internal state.  the program cannot safely continue execution , must terminated." at point, print spooler service stoppe

hi friends, i'm in process of designing 2008 r2 rds farm 500 users. i'm testing set based on following role placement 3x rdsh -- internal network - domain joined ( domain.local) 1x rd connection broker  --- internal network - domain joined ( domain.local) 2x rd webaccess , rd gateway roles on each server -- internal network - domain joined ( domain.local) i'm planning deploy webaccess , rd gateway roles  on  same server, wants have ha both webaccess , rd gateway. have open port 443 , don't see reason put rd web/gateway in dmz. can achieve ha using 2 servers each 1 having rd web , rd gateway roles installed? i'm planning use nlb, don't know if can use when both roles installed on each of 2 servers? there best way design this? effect performance?  i red minimum of 2 san certs required . 1 cover farm name: domain.local [internal domain] , san cert covering rdg,web , app signing. need 2 certs? can away 1 san cert covering domain.local,sign.doma
