and here go again! rd client has been updated version 8.1.0 , again outside network no connection possible anymore.

previous version did work ok, no problems @ all.

sad, looks every update breaking something, our customers depend on it.

if keeps being buggy maybe have revert citrix than...

please fix this.

i have had exact same issue. , found solution. hope it might work to. have warn - solution might seem joke - isn't.

the issue in case related user’s password. if use danish letter example “æ” or “ø” in password. cannot logon outside network, when ios device connected local wifi-network connection works perfectly.

the password tested didn't work:

Østerlars2, pøssword01, æsword01, søword01

when ever changing password else, out “æ” or “ø”. users logged in expected.

i have tested thoroughly. bit curious know if works to.

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
