What's the best way to setup DNS in a VPS or dedicated server?

hi,

i purchased vps , setup few websites(domains),

for example:

example1.co.nz (primary)

example2.com

example3.co.au

what best way setup dns server?

currently have 1 static ip address.

first option:

set dns in vps

ns1.example1.co.nz point ip address of vps

second option:

set dns in vps

set ns1.example1.co.nz , ns2.example1.co.nz point same ip address of vps or

purchase static ip address 2 name servers.

(i don't see why option, if vps fails, both dns fail)

third option:

buy third party dns service

i in new zealand, remote rest of world, affect network speed?

firth option:

first dns ns.example.co.nz pointing won vps dns

second dns using third party service, possible?

according description, understanding need create multi websites on vps 1 static ip address.

your question more iis instead of dns server. iis has provide function creating multi websites on 1 machine. may post on iis forum official support:

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
