Only 12 ip free.

hi all

i new in forum , in environment (the guy support network fired beginning of week , take place)

i know little thing networking , in first step face issue big or small don’t know

our first dns server show lot of event id 1020 our scope 90 % full , have 12 ip free.

i know how easy add ip address.

our current configuration 192.168.1.xxx subnet mask 255.255.255.0

logical add more ip addresses have change mask 255.255.255.0 255.255.0.0

i appreciate fix problem ip addresses.

we use 2 dns server (primary , secondary) windows server 2003

any other information want tell me , answer possible.

ps: there way clean entries in dhcp without problem.

ps2: in our configuration have 2 more networks connected straight line , ip address 192.168.3.xxx first branch , 192.168.4.xxx second branch. if change mask think face issues branches??

if use subnet mask of 255.255.254.0 give ip address range of 192.168.0.1 192.168.1.254 double number of ip addresses have currently.  however, should understand subnetting before changing ensure don't mis-configure network.
