Staging folder getting larger, DFSR.exe 50% CPU load

2 weeks ago did cleanup in particular deletedandconflicted folder, because exceeded staging quota 46gb

i used steps on following link http://blogs.technet.com/b/askds/archive/2008/10/06/manually-clearing-the-conflictanddeleted-folder-in-dfsr.aspx

the cleanup did job, looks particular staging folder getting bigger , not replicating @ all.

also conflictedanddeletedmanifest.xml not recreated. or happen when actual conflict there?also dfsr.exe running on 50% days now. reboot of server , restarting dfs service didn't help.

we have no antivirus software running. os win server 2003 r2

update:

after research process monitor see proces coming 25 times in 1 second.

this file isn't in straging folder anymore.

 

where dfrs.exe information from?

 




hi rudi,

as staging folder getting larger, seems dfsr trying replicate data. how large folder waiting replicating?

try set staging folder larger see if can help.

or can disable replication, run robocopy copy changed/added files target folder , re-enable repilcation see if helps.

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

0x300000d errors in Microsoft Remote Desktop client

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically....
