Sub-CA website certificate

we have root , sub-ca installed , has been working fine.

we using sha256 certificates , seems working new certs issued correctly.

the certificate web services of sub-ca has expired , generated new request , subsequently obtained new certificate.

however when bind new certificate website if try browse to servername/certsrv ie states page cannot displayed , should enable tls 1.0, 1.1 , 1.2.

these options enabled.

so problem?  have checked certificate , seems fine.  correct name , sha256.

why ie not it?  ie11.  same happens in chrome also.

your post needs more clarification.

- discuss subca certificate expiring (which should never happen when managed)

- segue discussing ssl certificate issue

which it? subordinate ca certificate should not protecting ssl web site, nor should iis installed on ca reason.

can provide clearer details
