RemoteApp farm balanced behind F5 receiving "unexpected server authentication certificate" half the time
hi- have server 2008 r2 farm comprised of 2 servers. in front of servers, have f5 load balancing solution.
the f5 pool configured ip address , dns entry- latter of use when publishing rdp files.
i have configured remoteapp(iexplore.exe switches) on both of them. using .rdp desktop object deployment method- vbs runs gpo drops connection object on users' desktops.
this hasn't been in production long, lately users receiving "remoteapp disconnected" error dialog, stating "the connection had terminated because unexpected server authentication certificate received remote computer"
i have experimented putting both server certs in each other's cert store, ultimately, can't find on root of problem is- don't know cert connection wants see, or seeing.
anyone else experience similar? users able access after attempting 2-4 times- , it's not 1 server or other- there ppl connected both right now.
