Virtual machine '*' has a single Fibre Channel adapter that is assigned to the virtual SAN. To ensure redundancy, at least two Fibre Channel adapters should be assigned.

hi technet,

i new fiber , have been assigned check on warning get:

our setup windows 2012 r2 hyper-v hosts connected fc hp 3par storage.

we using csv system partition of guest os

we have configured virtual san manager under hyper-v , working.

we have several guests fc adapters , assigned volumes , working

our issue:

when adding host cluster run cluster validation test , warning (i allowed add node anyway) guests fc adapters:

virtual machine '*' has single fibre channel adapter assigned virtual san. ensure redundancy, @ least 2 fibre channel adapters should assigned.

our guests configured 1 fc adapter wwnn , wwpn set in both address set & b

my question:

do need configure 2 fc adapters each guest, instead of using both address sets 1 fc adapter?

hi,

it's recommended have more 1 vfc adapter redundancy.
