hello

we've built rds farm using rd web , rd gateway. we've applied public wildcard certificate external facing components rd gateway , rd web.

from understanding allow sso function correctly between rd web , broker need digitally sign remoteapp programs "enhanced key" certificate. my current internal ca running on 2008 standard, can tell can’t use custom templates , therefore can’t used generate above certificate.

could build ca on 2008 enterprise, have root certificate trusted our workstation fleet , generate required certificate? running 2 ca's cause issue?

i rather recommend upgrade 2008 ca 2008 r2 (or 2012) because there can want standard windows server edition.

i not sure "enhanced key", documentation read saying enhanced key usage, question setting should enhanced key usage get.

i found on msdn http://blogs.msdn.com/b/rds/archive/2009/08/11/introducing-web-single-sign-on-for-remoteapp-and-desktop-connections.aspx, seems enhanced key usage server authentication. default example ssl server certificates.

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
