Folder redirection and sync issue

hi folks i'm working in 2003 domain environment group policy redirecting users documents file server. understand default behaviour of redirected files synchronize using offline files feature of windows.

some users have reported me machines have started synchronize other users folders under user share can increase time taken , result in failures. note not users synchronized machines have gone ary. users reporting fault synchronizing 1 or 2 other folders, seemingly selected @ random. these need not have been folders of people have logged machines before.

there doesn't seem setting control behaviour , solution i've found rebuild of affected system.

there group policy supposedly shuts off automated syncing of redirected folders point blank doesn't work.

anyone seen before advise me?

hi,

on affected system, please logon user account , go offline files, check if other folders (which should not sync) listed in "view offline files". if so, check the security setting of these folders on domain controller see if correct.
