An unexpected error has occurred: The Certification Authority Service has not been started (and missing templates)

hi,

if logged ws08 r2 pki server , connect https://pki/certsrv server , try "download ca certificate, certificate chain, or crl"

i error message: unexpected error has occurred: certification authority service has not been started.

also if try 'advanced certificate request" see 'user' , 'basic efs' templates.

 

however, if logged other machine on network , connect https://pki/certsrv server, "download ca certificate, certificate chain, or crl" works correctly , 'advanced certificate request' page shows default certificate templates.

any ideas?

 



the problem should locally in user session or specific ie session on pki server web enrollment service working other machines.

try switching off ie esc internet explorer enhanced security settings on pki server might restrict access active content. not recommended switch off ie esc, please read more managing ie esc http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd883248(ws.10).aspx

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
