hi nilesh,
thanks posting here.
after reading post understand want vms @ 2 physical isolated hyper-v servers connect each other going through 2 xp vms physical nic attached on both hyper-v hosts . issue facing routing configurations , if misunderstand please let me know .
172.30.82.0/24 172.30.23.0/24
172.30.42.0/24-----(hyerp-v-1)-----xp----- (physical network) -----xp-----(hyerp-v-2)-----172.30.29.0/24
172.30.14.0/24
first @ please make such physical nic has default on both xp virtual machines , leave empty on other virtual interfaces . , using ip address assign physical nic on xp machines @ opposite @ default gateway address. instant , assume both xp machines connect each other via physical nic ip address form ip segment 192.168.1.0/24, have ip addresses on :
xp on hyper-v-1
ip address | default gateway | type |
192.168.1.10 | 192.168.1.20 | external |
172.30.82.1 | empty | private |
172.30.42.1 | empty | private |
172.30.14.1 | empty | private |
xp on hyper-v-2
ip address | default gateway | type |
192.168.1.20 | 192.168.1.10 | external |
172.30.23.1 | empty | private |
172.30.29.1 | empty | private |
finally , please tcp/ip forwarding on both xp matches , rest routing stuffs should finished automatically system :)
