Help search options: "Office online" versus "from this computer"

i wonder why microsoft has chosen prefer providing results "office online" default when searching (in office 2007), rather results "from computer". 

i can recognise benefit in providing option.  don't mind set factory default.  find irritating, however, default cannot changed user , "office online" not provide of available "from computer". 

suggested improvement alternatives:

* mirror local content online

* allow user set default resource [i.e. remembered in new sessions, after rebooting, etc.]

* allow user select both "content office online" and "content computer" when seeking help.

to have word search local files default, following: open window. on status bar, click "connected office online," , choose "show content computer."

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
