cortana not working

so, update hit computer, , caused ton of issues.  first, start menu stopped working few days.  (i got fixed via post power-shell commands)  the second big issue cortana isn't working, click search, or click on ask me , nothing, cortana , nothing happens.  it's hp laptop that's of higher end.

since see "ask me anything", assumed country/region has been set @ united states , primary language set english (united states).

you have activated cortana, yould still need enable it.................

click "ask me anything" > top left, click 3-lines (hamburger icon ) > select settings > there enable cortana way want moving slides right. should self-exlanatory.

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
