Windows 2012 (not R2) Event ID 257 Defrag task fails on volume - was not optimized becuase an error was encountered. 0x80070057

i have server generating above message.  tried execute defrag task on volume , failed.  other volumes complete successfully. 

however, have issue, defrag started run outside of maintenance window (03:00 hrs.) , executed during working hours!!! consequently users not access system whilst happening.

i have not customized of maintenance tasks, may exclude drive if happens again, defrag , optimization gui.

so in summary, 2 issues:

defrag on drives task executed in working hours

 taks fails - operation not supported 0x80070057

(failing volume not clustered shared volume way, using scale out file server - failover cluster server configuration)

could please detail relation between problematic server and  scale out file server ?

is there difference of file system format  between problematic drive , others ?

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
