Trust relationship between Win Server 2008 and Win Server 2000 timeout?
i have (with agony) configured trust relationship between our new windows 2008 server r2(a) , existing windows 2000 server(b). 2008 server replaces 2000 version 1 crashed. trust existed on 2000 version , allowed users domain b access printers , file shares on domain a, not other way around. working in 2008, however, users on domain b lock pc @ night (instead of doing shutdown) have logoff/logon again in morning in order access shares/printers.
users getting annoyed, because on system , start working, not noticing there issue until try print or open shared document on domain a. have close out of applications , logoff/logon.
is there timeout setting or need change correct this? can provide little insight?

delete broken trust on domain(a), delete broken trust , metadata cleanup on domain(b) failed domain controller, , create new trust. clean dns (b domain) of references failed domain controller (srv, a, , ptr records)
