how to modify Local Security policy for memeber server?

hello all,

we have member server has domain policy applied, need modify local security policy have more restrictive settings control local accounts settings (i believe domain policy doesn't control local accounts, controls domain accounts right?)

when open local security policy (secpol.msc) on server, figured out settings greyed out , unable modify them

please advise

thanks lot in advance

best regards

generally, can manage these things in group policy targeted specific server or ou. can define scope of gpo specifying applied, , computers in ou (or wmi query result) apply setting.

local security policies can greyed out number of reasons. local administrator? there site, domain or ou scoped gpo defining setting? easy thing remember acronym lsdou, defines order in group policies applied , order. farther right, higher priority.
