DC Crashed
hi
i have win2k3 domain 2 domain controllers. unfortunately 1 domain controller crashed , having below listed roles along dhcp. how ever had dhcp backup , restored backup on alternate server.but roles needs moved on new dc built.how can , along need clear records pertaining crashed dc.please guide me step step perform operation. (confusion between seize , transfer roles) apply in case.

along have 2 more queries needed help. i'm building new domain along on 2k3 not have relation (separate network) , have task of creating/importing some users existing domain created in new domain. user's approx 800 .how can create these users in less time , efficient manner.knowledge short on scripting.
i want create dhcp failover in case server holding dhcp server goes offline no impact should there on function end users.how can create step step guide appreciated..

transfer - when server1 online , want move roles server2.
seize - when server1 down , have to move roles server2. case.
so have seize all fsmo roles server2 (you must ensure server1 not online again).
