Corrupt SYSVOL and NETLOGON shares in our domain controllers

corrupt sysvol + netlog replication.

overview: client had old windows 2003 server hosting exchange 2003. server had been in wars, countless sudden power offs due being unprotected power cuts. final straw came when took me on day exchange , running due corrupt datastore.

they running exchange 2013 on windows 2012 member server. there 2 domain controllers “windows 2008 , windows 2012”. want remove windows 2008 dc , go windows 2012. windows 2008 dc primary domain controller.

due time constraints did in-place upgrade, rather start new domain …in hindsight wish did started new domain there abundance of issues upgrade.

problem:

once had move exchange data exchange 2010 staging server, tried move roles windows 2003 server windows 2008. hit errors doing , had seize roles. windows 2003 not demote correctly.

what didn’t realise sysvol folder + netlogon folder hadn’t been created, had no default gpo’s or others.

i managed access these old windows 2003 server , manually copy them over. windows 2008 primary domain controller happy , running without errors.

my issue when introduce domain controller, same thing happens, no sysvol or netlogon shares.

how can repair issue?

i have ultrasound install on windows xp machine monitoring both servers , doesn’t report errors.

i have manually created sysvol + netlogon shares , copied on default group policies , tried burflags key.

everything else working fine.

please ..
