My fix for "WRN1:7814 A unique match was not found."

hi all,

just in case has same issue thought share findings on how fixed admt error "wrn1:7814 unique match not found." during user migration.

today when doing user migrations ad forest in czech republic global ad forest in usa had problems 40 users out of 60. admt kept giving me error:
2017-01-16 16:02:23 wrn1:7814 unique match not found. source object 'cn=aleš popelka,ou=tiskárna - obchod,ou=ostrava praha,ou=ostrava,ou=metaframe,ou=uživatelé,dc=source,dc=local' matches following target objects 'cn=ales popelka,ou=ostrava,ou=users,ou=cz,dc=target,dc=local', 'cn=aleš popelka,ou=ostrava,ou=users,ou=cz,dc=target,dc=local'.

i checked in target ad , there 1 account. pretty sure not duplicate account. checked sidhistory on target account , there nothing there either.

playing around different merge settings during user migration proved unsuccessful started @ admt include file @ time was:

sourcename,targetsam,targetupn

i tried remove targetupn , have sourcename,targetsam still same error.

i resolved issue changing include file sourcename,targetrdn.

i not entirely sure why fixed since did not find answer myself on net thought share here. in hope else can use information in hope maybe educate me why fix.

seems problem special character mappings :-)

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

0x300000d errors in Microsoft Remote Desktop client

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically....
