XP workstations periodically losing access to network resources, require logoff, login


recently, have 3 windows xp workstations periodically being logged off, or losing rights network resources. have 50 workstations @ our main office with one local 2003 domain controller running sql, dns , wins. in addition, have 2003 terminal/isa 2004 server running dns well... , remote office 2003 server running scondary domain controller isa 2004, dns , wins. 3 workstaitons hare having issue, approximately twice day. firewall client icon gets red x, , cannot online. may lose access sql server, network printers , shares. logging off , logging back in eliminates issues while. network adapters are set not turned off save power. have moved connections different network switches, used different cables, , even different wall/patch panel jacks. don't know if firewall client/server issue, network issue, or workstation or user account issue. thel workstations on opposite ends of building , have little in common.

is still active question? if yes, let's start dns, sounds that. unedited ipconfig /all client machine , belonging dc/dns helpful.

also not recommended run isa server on dc results in having 2 ip addresses on dc not recommended , can result in multiple problems.
