wsusutil reset command taking ages to complete

hi,

last week (wednesday) trying export of metadata wsus instance have connected internet before transfered disconnected network. unfortunitly not working , giving 0kb cab file , 100mb log file.

we decided should clean up, , instead of running cleanup wizard, ran command wsusutil.exe reset.

on thursday, 1 of our admins tried use wsus, , still going reset, restarted update services service , when came back, started doing reset command on again. have since left it, , tuesday (5 days since services started again, 6 since command run) , still going.

our database 6.3gb (on seperate database server - sql 2008 r2), , our wsuscontent folder 212gb (51,438 files) in size.

we have many updates, data imported number of disconnected systems contain systems server 2000 way server 2012, , of other microsoft products. decline updates superseeded, all.

is there anyway can check on progress of reset command, or stop wsus , clear flag tells run again when service restarted?

the reset process complex state machine runs entirely within wsus database. weren't able come way of cancelling or speeding without significant engineering investment. it's on to-do list, working hard on other things right you'll hearing soon. sorry don't have better news @ time.

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

0x300000d errors in Microsoft Remote Desktop client

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically....
