Can I remove Servers on the list from my WSUS?

hi there..

i want know.. work company tech in server , both network infrastructure..

currently bussy deploying new wsus server company.. because of many pc's should update

windows on same time..

now.. have issue wsus wants update pc's including main servers...(witch should not do)

see servers should not updated if goes wrong multiple data , networks wil go down.

do create gpo on wsus servers not update or move them list , setup group not

to aprove updates..

beacuse... had insadent.. there wsus on network previosly forced gpo update pc's on netwrok

wsus... removed gpo , rules network. changed ip current old wsus ip

and bamm... pc's , servers updated , restarted.. , had main server admin frustrated..

so want servers , pc's off wsus....

you can't delete computer object thru wsus console because appear againwhen gp applies,then wua register servers , pc wsus .

to leave management wsus,the appropriate action should disabling policy "specify intranet microsoft update service location" had been applied these servers.to check setting,run gpresult or rsop.msc on these server make sure "specify intranet microsoft update service location" has been disabled.

alternatively,like noted above,you don't approve updates on servers , pc,and never updated.
