Application do not launch in RDS session/ Citrix
environmnet: (rds windows 2008 r2 , citrix xenapp 6.5)
published applications run server (not streaming)
there couple of users face issue launching applications citrix (rds) servers.
all other users work fine -- no issue.
we have single domain in our environment , management separated ou's
however users 1 location travel other location often
we have citrix xenapp 6.5 @ our location , have published apps users
some users have come other location , needed access apps, these users @ our office location
we published apps them well
once click on app launch , after while fails top launch , show the error
as have checked details not find in procmon ran on server application published.
noticed while application launching gets stuck on internet explorer branding policies , see above image .
i checked http://support.citrix.com/article/ctx120579/
but seems old our environmnet
users pc has ie 8, windows 7 , , servers 2008 r2
a different user teh same pc can launch teh application fine.
i think group policy or logon script may issue because these users belong separate ou our office users
part of single domain
we have 1 single domain , there number of sites
in case our users belong 1 ou except users have issues
belong separate ou
they location , in our location , doesnt not mean change ou go once work done.
different ous have different policies configured them (gpo) managed differnet admins.
-- our xenapp servers belong same ou.
we have separate group policy users , computers
the applications published worker group , worker group configured farm servers not based on ad ou structure
please let me knwo if need further informatio

the tect in image
i rebuilt gpo , excluded internet explorer maintenance policy
instead redirected favorites to network drive because of favorites we faced issue.
this not solution cant waste more time finding why happened.
