Windows XP Fax thru Server 2008 R2

i having problems getting windows xp sp3 (fully patched) machine send faxes through windows server 2008 r2 (fully patched)

the fax printer status (in xp) online

i have copied on 6 dll's mentioned elsewhere root\system32\spool\drivers\3

  copied files older there (i saved previous contents of folder in case need revert)

i run through fax wizard in xp noting happens in fax monitor

nothing appears in out box.

i have uninstalled , reinstalled fax in wndows xp

there has not been other fax software installed on machine.

i can send faxes server 2008 r2 box fine.

please advise further steps take.

thanks post.

at time, have need confirm:

1. these client machines installed windows xp 32-bit version os?

2. did copy these dll files %systemroot%\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3 ?

meanwhile, please perform following steps change relevant settings:

change fax service "logon as" network service "local system" on fax server.

============================

go "server management" -> "configuration" -> "services" , modify properties of "fax" under services list. please check "allow service interact desktop" under local system.

please note: before peforming above steps, please make sure methods mentioned in following link have been used.
