3- install additional dc on new server (dcpromo)

4- make new windows server 2008 dc global catalog.

5- transfar fsmo roles new server (schema master, dnm, rid, pdc, infrastructure)

6- modify domain controller , global catalog server in exchange 2010 server new server:

a- organization configuration

b- in server configuration

c- recipient configuration

d- in management sell (set-adserversettings -preferredserver dc2.xxx.local)

before demote old dc, shut down old dc , receving following issues:

1- exchange server 2010 not connected new domain controller, (management console , management shell not working)..

2- failed authenticate proxy using (ntlm), working fine ldap....

can provide detailed step step process dc migration done? or shell use admt type of migration.

and how can connecting exchange 2010 server new dc.

hello,

please see; http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998227.aspx

here in article you can set it with ps command line: http://exchangeserverpro.com/how-to-use-a-specific-domain-controller-in-exchange-2010-management-shell http://fazalmkhan.wordpress.com/2010/04/05/how-to-use-a-specific-domain-controller-in-exchange-2010/

also seems more exchange problem if above mentioned article doesn't help.
