network connection problems

i have windows server 2008 machine seems lose it's ability access network shares , update it's group policy; users still able access folder shares , still able remote desktop it. unable access pages on internet. there sophos endpoint security installed on it. antivirus did catch instance of confik-d virus , cleaned up. after reboot of server, functioning normally, when checking next day, unable access network shares , websites again. there known issue causes or can steer me in right direction? there service gets stopped?

i have figured out. there lem agent installed on server; apparantly agent has issue code takes resources. noticed in services using quite bit of resources, more should anyway. service stopped , functioning again. contacted vendor , replied with:

we've noticed problems older agent (agent version 4.6.0 included version 5.2 of manager appliance) on virtual systems and, on rare occasions, servers. due bug memory handling of older version of java.

the symptoms similar in that, due resource bug in old java program, request resources , not think got them, request again, looping until consumed cpu resources , causing system extremely sluggish or causing other systems timeout when trying reach it.  

with above scenario, can see how more show on virtual systems.

i upgraded new version , appears functioning correctly. thank assistance.

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

0x300000d errors in Microsoft Remote Desktop client

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically....
