LSI Syncro CS doesn't pass Cluster Validation???

does know how setup clustered file server these cards?

nobody @ lsi support has been trained on them yet, , have no idea how help.

the specific error when running validation is:

model bus type stack type scsi address adapter eligible validation disk characteristics
lsi mr9286-8eha scsi disk device raid scsi port 2:1:0:0 lsi syncro cs 9286-8e false disk bus type not support clustering. disk partition style gpt. disk
type basic.

i assume has cards not being sas or iscsi or fc san, but, @ same time, ha clustering entire point of these $5000 paperweights, , windows server 2012 x64 supported operating system...

all drives dual port sas.  connectors redundant.  drives assigned dual sas addresses.

thanks quick reply tim. have no documentation yet, they're still writing it.  got bunch of un-formatted word docs them.  :)

i got first part of answer right here registry hack:

- in order give access failover cluster of vds created, have add registry setting in regedit.
- open windows powershell , type regedit.
- once in regedit: go hkey_local_machine-> system-> currentcontrolset-> services-> clusdisk-> parameter
- right click add dword (32 bits) value. value name allowbustyperaid , set value data 1 (change data 0s on right 1).

now i'm failing @ disk failover validation.  replace 1 problem another, 1 more generic , fixable.

"node" fqdn1 "holds scsi pr on test disk 1 , brought disk online, failed in attempt write file data partition table entry 1.  disk structure corrupted , unreadable."
