Launchpad Blank - Windows Server 2016 Essentials

i upgraded (replaced) windows server 2012 essentials windows server 2016 essentials.  on windows 10 client pc launchpad shows blank when opened (instead of showing usual backup, remote web access, shared folders, , dashboard options).

i have not found error messages (in event log of either wse 2016 essentials or windows 10 client) seem related problem.  nor have found solution problem (on 2016 or prior version of windows server).

i installed hyper-v server 2016 (server core) , created vm wse 2016 essentials installed.  after had updates installed exported copy of wse 2016 essentials (to use backup) , reset windows 10 pcs (which had been connected wse 2012 essentials) , installed wse 2016 essentials connector.  i did 2 windows 10 pcs.

after short time noticed on second windows 10 pc when opened luanchpad no longer had options.  i still connect wse 2016 essentials server's shared folders.

i checked first windows 10 pc , launchpad working correctly there.  so thought had become corrupted when reset windows 10 , installed various software on second pc.

but after resetting windows 10 second time (on second pc) when installed wse 2016 essentials connector launchpad still blank.

so thought wse 2016 essentials had been corrupted.  i restored export i'd made of wse 2016 essentials vm taken after updates had been installed.

i reset windows 10 on second pc third time, after installing software launchpad still coming blank.

i wasn't sure if microsoft allow me re-install wse 2016 essentials cd onto new vm, in i've tried think if corruption occurred during installation of software should have been eliminated various resets.

i have not gone first windows 10 pc yet.  since imported wse 2016 essentials prior export wasn't sure if first windows 10 pc still connect or not.  but given how second windows 10 pc behaving suspect if tried connect first windows 10 pc start getting blank launchpad too?

thanks assistance can provide.  i @ loss understand causing problem or how fix it.

fyi - made changes computer.  in process of doing downloaded latest bios available asus x99-a motherboard.  then re-installed windows 10.

once got point of re-installing windows server essentials software found launchpad no longer blank.  i have no idea how related bios have caused this, seems cauing problem.

had been running latest version of windows 10 on computer.  so don't think windows causing problem.  although might have been related using newer version of windows 10 when did re-install compared version using when had problems?  i suppose might have somehow caused problem, i.e., launchpad being blank.?

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

0x300000d errors in Microsoft Remote Desktop client

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically....
