Need help, Win 7 Ult client left domain and unable to join back. Can not get to //servername/connector, can not join domain manually when running connector software. Thank you!

client windows 7 ultimate desktop

server windows 2012 essentials.

i had issues clients , servers not seeing each other (for backups) , else worked (access files, login domain, etc).

1. removed connector software on client

2. removed computer account in dashboard on server

3. removed client domain

now can not join back

1. can not iis website (from either client or server - error 500 , code 0x8007007e meaning have find offending module disable)

2. can not find server when trying run connector software manually

3. can not change domain (ad dc not found).

any suggestions?

i can

1. connect server , change things on using remote desktop

2. client can ping server, server can ping client . nslookup fails both ends (non-existent domain).

network setup

1. run pfsense firewall , wan balancer. pfsense (i.e. 10.1.1.100) runs dhcp server , grants ip addresses both client , w12 server.

2. on server 10.1.1.1 manually entered pfsense gateway, primary dns , pfsense secondary dns

3. on client, set autoconfigure, receives 10.1.1.2 address , thinks windows essentials server dhcp server/dns server , primary gateway. client think pfsense secondary gateway

why run pfsense dhcp - have ubuntu clients address it.

any advice on how simplify it? next steps iis work on essentials server (solving 500 error) , see if can remove potential overlap dhcp

based on description, understand can download connector software via http://servername/connect. however, encounter issue when run windows server essentials connector configuration wizard. confirmation. understanding.

would please let me know complete error message when run windows server essentials connector configuration wizard? meanwhile, please follow path: c:\programdata\microsoft\windows server\logs , check computerconnector log file if find errors.

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically....
