Configure SMTP for Comcast?

i have windows 2012 essentials server. installed smtp feature. have examples how configure things thru gui can send mail internal server , have send out thru comcast's smtp server? thought on smtp virtual server properties page:

  • general tab: select server ip in pulldown
  • delivery tab -> outbound security:  set basic authentication comcast username , password
  • delivery tab -> outbound connections: set tcp port 587
  • delivery tab -> advanced: set smart host smtp.comcast.net

any thoughts on this?  assumption printers can email scans computers can send on smtp port 25 send internal server , route comcast sent.

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
