Remote session via RDGW fine with Windows - not possible with Mac ...?
hi,
i've configured fresh single rds server (all roles on 1 server including gateway) based on windows server 2012 r2. works fine when use windows 7 current rdp client connect via gateway/https.
when use mac (os x 10.9.3) current version of "microsoft remote desktop" (8.0.7), no rdp connection established. error message: "unable connect remote pc. please verify ...". login on <external.domain.name>/rdweb works fine , i'm able download .rdp-file , open microsoft remote desktop, after few seconds error above appears.
i did traffic analyzing on our firewall , seems mac try connect on port 3389 on public ip of rds server, blocked. manually configured rdp connection gateway - same error. log of microsoft remote desktop:

i remember there issue establish sso based on dns resolve (external domain name internal ip address via gateway connection); resolved new dns zone. why it fine on windows, not on mac os x microsoft remote desktop? wondering why mrd not using gateway connection resolve rdp host ... ?
many thanks,
erik
