Upgrading from Build 2.0.0.2620

looking upgrade wsus version 3.0 sp2. running build 2.0.0.2620.

@ least running 3.0 on windows server 2003 box. question is, makes sense remove build 2.0.0.2620 , install fresh 3.0 sp2 install? (i believe have anyways?) , road blocks hit when go ad , remove policy had in place older version , create new policy 3.0?

absolutely.

not because requirement.... there functional upgrade path wsus v2 wsus v3, process , end result not worth effort. have better installation result of installing wsus v3 sp2 fresh installation.

the policy not need removed, merely updated in event url of wsus server different. there 0 issues phase of process. policy settings apply windows update agent, , not version of wsus installed, , settings have not changed in past 5 years.

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically. hi ruud, as works rd
