Configuration encountered some issues....

trying add windows server essentials role 2012r2 server. here's setup:

1. server domain controller, single domain, not fsmo (just domain controller). not read only.

2. windows server 2012 r2 standard. activated, updates installed.

3. domain functional level 2003. there 2 legacy 2003 servers, both dc's.  2012 server supposed replace 1 of two.

4. server running dns, local nic settings point dns 127.0.0.1 resolutions. tested , working.

5. dcdiag /test:dns tests passed

6. added domain\serveradmin$ domain policy "log on service"

ran gpupdate /force , rebooted server after changes.

tried removing , reinstalling role after adding id policy.  same error.

none of the  logs shows nothing can see..

event log shows logon failure serveradmin$ (yes, after adding policy,and gpupdate, , reboot)

try manually start essentials management service, 1069: logon failure.  switch local system account, starts, configuration wizard changes back, , fails again. didnt' create or change anything,

odd thing: app log shows logon failure.  security log doesn't.

any ideas check next?

are there logs or events or genereated configuration of essentials role 's failing at?

update: uninstalled backup software see if interfering...still failed.

update 2: fixed! found issue, , got working....configuration @ 100%

fyi:  didn't different, 1 small exception: in between install, , configuration, opened command prompt (admin) , typed in: net start wsemgmtsvc.  once service manually started, configuration able start...

the following accounts not validated:

contoso.com\mediaadmin$

i don't think gets far enough create account, since doesn't start management service, since can't serveradmin$ account.

update 2: fixed! found issue, , got working....configuration @ 100%

fyi:  didn't different, 1 small exception: in between install, , configuration, opened command prompt (admin) , typed in: net start wsemgmtsvc.  once service manually started, configuration able start...

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
