Word 2010: large file size sent to the printer

hello,

with word 2010, document containing picture takes large size when print it. specifically, have 15-page document several screenshots file size of 1.3 mo when printed, file sends file of 257mo printer!

i thought of resolution issue in options of word 2010, worked default resolution of 220ppp

so went resolution of 96dpi did not change file size sent printer, having asked images compressed resolution.

this problem occurs regardless of os (xp, vista or w7).

if convert document docx doc (compatibility 2007-2003), file sent printer takes normal size of 6mb.

do have idea of problem?

i found workaround problem
in printer options, have uncheck option "enable advanced printing features". appears emf spool file generated word 2010 can become large images inserted in document. unchecking option, raw file (smaller) sent printer.

it should noted problem doesn't present word 2007 or 2003 !!

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
