Current host server for a cluster

hi folks-

in failover cluster manager, when node "current host server", imply?  doesn't affect me, i'm more concerned node owns specific cluster resource.  however, multi-subnet clusters, cluster ip change depending on node current host server. (i.e. cluster ip in same subnet current host server)

in mind, doesn't seem "active" node, other nodes might owning/running cluster resources.  if active node @ wsfc-level, change in terms of how node behaves?

thanks in advance!

"current host server" means that's node owns 'cluster group'. typically, group has cluster network name, cluster ip, , witness resources.
