Best Raid Configuration for a 8-1tb hhd server

hi all,

i have been trying figure out best raid configuration windows 2012 essentials server. wondering if advise on this. here out of configuration.

  1. i split 8-1tb drives 2 vhd 1 300gb os installed on, , rest use  storage. want have redundancy, read & write capabilities.
  2. i using server small web page , game hosting, email exchange, critical application hosting.
  3. i ability enlarge overall raid storage swapping out 1tb drives 2tb or larger need more storage arises.

you may better of using storage spaces , not using raid @ all.

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
