RDP to local logged in session

the problem having when user logs server locally, cannot login same session on remote desktop.

server running windows server 2003 , seem work fine between machines xp installed.

the reason server needs restarted out of hours remote location , programs restarted user.

the next morning same user logs onto server directly onto server itself, programs started in remote desktop session cannot seen.

thank time.

hi,

please use /admin command line switch connect console session on server 2003, this:

mstsc /admin

for old remote desktop clients, please use /console switch instead, this:

mstsc /console

if need option saved in .rdp file need add following line newer rd client versions:

administrative session:i:1

and older rd client versions add line saved .rdp file:

connect console:i:1

with above user connecting console session when connecting remotely, when come in , log on console programs there.

thanks.
