Cannot expand a volume assigned to FileShare within Stretched File Cluster with Storage Replica

good afternoon

i struggling extend data volume attached fileserver of stretched fail on cluster replicating data via storage replica.

configuration

  • windows stretched failover cluster 
  • 4 nodes, 2 each data center
  • the 2 nodes in site 1 share 2 disks, 20gb data volume, 13gb log volume via rdm using vmware directly san. repeated site 2.
  • fileserver role added cluster , provisioning 25gb data volume
  • synchronous replication running via storage replica 1 site other.

what have done

  • i have extended data volume 5tb san. 
  • i enabled volume resizing on srgroup (powershell)
  • using disk management on primary node, have extended volume, looks have worked across nodes
  • as can see in below image, csv disks have picked size increase 5tb d:\ volume still @ 20gb

i have seen articles old cluster solutions (2012) has suggested using diskpart, have tried disk part , still no luck. has else encountered this?

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
