Restrict how many applications can run in a single user session


client: windows xp sp3

server: windows server 2003

i doubt possible, figured i'd ask in case...

is there way restrict how many active windows user can have opened during session?  have several users open upwards 30 e-mails in 1 sitting, along 10-20 presentations and/or spreadsheets (ms office 2007).

they on vms (vmware esx 3.5 vdi), not on terminal services.  rdp vms though.

no can't. restrict applications not number
a user can run.
