Where is NTUser.pol and registry.pol? It appears that it is missing.

i've been considering clamwin antivirus single server run @ midnight.  1 of problems virus scanner must exclude files , extensions become corrupt , cause server develop bsod.  going test exclusions on test server see how affects functionality of test server.

an issue i'm having being unable see following:

  • group policy user registry information. these files located in following folder:
  • %allusersprofile%\

specifically, exclude following file:

ntuser.pol

  • group policy client settings file. file located in following folder:

%systemroot%\system32\grouppolicy\

specifically, exclude following file:

registry.pol

while using computer on server 2008 can venture c drive can't find folder named alluserprofile

also, inside system32 grouppolicyusers folder not grouppolicy , appears empty.

any appreciated.

if did not configure local policy, both folders empty (could not contain registry.pol file).
(%systemroot%\system32\grouppolicy\ , %systemroot%\system32\grouppolicyusers\)

on windows server 2008 located in c:\programdata\registry.pol.

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically. hi ruud, as works rd
