Install .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows Server 2012 behind the firewall does not recognize sources folder. The source files could not be found.

good day,

i trying install .net 3.5 framework on windows server 2012.  i have tried of available dism options , still not work.  the server manager dialog continues not recognize local sources folder, , installation fails.  i have tried installing through powershell, , fails too.  it cannot download source files!

i behind corporate firewall, being blocked internet.

dism.exe runs , 65% enabled.  the .net framework remains uninstalled, , server manager dialog fails complete.

i get: "the source files not found" (in server manager installation progress screen)

i get: "do need specify alternate source path? 1 or more installation selections missing source files on destination..."  (confirm installation selections

screen)

i have tried powershell scripts, server manager dialog , dism.  all of these failing.

please help!

thank you

i pretty sure installed .net framework 3.5 on eval, has been quite while since did it.

one thing noted is appears may have used retail or volume media upgrade 2012 2012 r2.  don't explicitly state that, know there different issues in upgrading eval licensed copy, making assumption did use production media.  copied \source\sxs file evaluation media.  did try using retail or volume media?  have had issues when media did not match installation.
