Server 2012 Storage Spaces Parity - not calculating correctly?

i created volume using 4x 2tb hdds. hdds 1.81tb formatted. when put 4 in volume, show total 7.82tb - if create storage space of drives size 4.83tb. have expected parity raid5 - should yield 5.43tb. happening drive space? type of parity being used?

you using gui. gui uses ratio of 1:3 column space, there 1 parity stripe for every 2 data stripes. there no way control the column space gui, use powershell make parity space have 4 columns. have 1 parity stripe every 3 data stripes, have 5.4 tb. note if have 4x2tb drives should give total space of 7.2 tb not 7.8 tb , yes?
