Semaphore Timeout Error When Trying to Join Domain

i have small network. 1 dc running server 2003 sbs. server on domain. want replace new server essentials 2012 r2 server. when try join new server 2012 r2 essentials server domain gives me following error:

the following error occurred attempting join domain "domainname":

the semaphore timeout period has expired.

and doesn't seem have helpful information.

the new server not image. fresh build. virtual machine running on server 2012 r2 essentials hyper-v physical box.

all updates current on old , new servers.

i found problem. had smb 1.0 turned off on new server 2012 r2 server. after turning on can join domain fine. thank trying though!

went add roles , features, added smb 1.0 role. restarted. working fine.

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
