Required Permissions/User Rights for File Expiration on Server 2008 R2
i creating file expiration task on server 2008 r2 machine. expiration directory on same logical disk data being expired. configured expiration task folders need have data moved expiration directory. however, data not being moved expiration folder (criteria expiration met, using days sincethe file created, create date being used). configured file expiration tasks account has local administrative credentials. administrators local group has full control required folders.
i not sure if there specific user right needs configured, or if permission issue.
should noted uac being forced on via gpo. on windows 2008 r2, stupid popup evertime want move files, or delete files administrator.
any appreciated , greatfully accepted.

as mentioned uac, have try add account full control permission separately onto source , target folders.
if still not work, please have @ event viewer see whether there error message occurs when running file expiration tast.
