Issue about license cal-or other thing- server 2008 Standard- problem.

hi, name jorge zamit uruguay , wanna ask windows server 2008 installed windows server , active directory have doubts because have aprox. 8 clients win xp sp2 , sudenly 1 winxp lost conection database sql2005 express edition, have crm - erp application hosted in server , when machine logs on says conection lost database , need toy advc reconnect de database without need logoff or nothing. have feeling may license problem because didn t add more user cal nor device when installing , after searching , searching couldn t find license manager use have w2k3 in administrative tools. couldn t find way add or view licenses installed , or used in w2k8.

i check event log in server , didn t appear nothing related licenses. (this encourage me thinks isn t related license issue)
the other thing see developer of crm-erp use administrator user/password al winxp boxes, issue too, know security flaws cause teach him not anymore, keeps working account until correct erp-crm, application uses sa account sql express 2005.

please advice wil helpfull, can t understand why aren t papers related license in w2k8 modified way add or view licenses?

i mcse in w2k3 cannot study right upgrade, again welcome!!!!

hi,

 

from description, suspect issue might not related licensing, database connection. suggest should consult application provider issue. if suspect issue in regard sql 2005. please post in following sql forum. support engineers , communities more specialized in sql server field , assist in more efficient manner.

0x300000d errors in Microsoft Remote Desktop client

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically....
