WSUS Client not receiving updates from WSUS server

i have setup 2 virtual pc (both on same physical machine) test wsus update.

virtual pc1: server 2008 (dcsrv1) configured wsus, synchronised."wsus clients not installing updates" selected on automatic update settings.

virtual pc2: server 2008 (boston) used wsus client, gpupdate /force applied. "net stop wuauserv" , "net start wuauserv", "net stop wuauserv" commands ran.

type http://dcsrv1/iuident.cab on browser of wsus client(boston), prompted download file. means client can connect wsus server, connectivity not problem.

after waiting half hour, wsus client not appear on wsus server under computers/ unassigned computer.

no update notification prompted on wsus client though server has available updates applied client.

i have resolved problem.
difference did apply computer configuration\policies\administrative templates\windows components\windows update settings
on default domain control policy. before had policy settings on default domain policy only.

difference of default domain controller policy , default domain policy?

1.can please clarify mean statement:
"wsus clients not installing updates" selected on automatic update settings.
 reply:sorry, mean select "3-auto download , notify install"on automatic update settings.



2. did not described in process configured group policy or how assigned "boston" server.
reply: configured group policy settings of #1 in default domain policy -> group policy management editor, cant boston can updates.
tried apply same setting #1 in default domain controller policy -> group policy management editor, update works on boston fine.

3. did run these commands in order you've written them?
"net stop wuauserv" , "net start wuauserv", "net stop wuauserv" commands ran.

0x300000d errors in Microsoft Remote Desktop client

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically....
