Server 2012 R2 Remote Desktop Connection Broker, Server Name Change.

we have server connection broker, changed name , connection broker wont recognize new name.  continutes want old server.  unfortunately cant change back.  there fix this?  tried powershell command doesnt see old server name , errors out.

changing name of a rd connection broker server not supported.  if able remove rd connection broker role service , install new rds deployment may able working again (with perhaps few registry fixes), lose of configuration data associated deployment.  if have basic rds deployment may not big deal recreate collections, configure settings, publish remoteapps, etc., before.

another potential option if able temporarily change name switch ha mode database stored on local server (in sql express), add rdcb server, remove rdcb original (leaving sql express database still functional), rename server, add rdcb server, remove rdcb second server.  have not tried procedure @ first glance believe should work, although may bit complicated if not versed 2012 r2 rds.

if small environment may want consider backing any data on servers , reinstalling of rds servers scratch.  

it possible manually fix the issue you seeing editing rdms database, editing registries of rds servers, , other related tasks, however, not suggest due complexity.

0x300000d errors in Microsoft Remote Desktop client

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically....
