hi chiliman,
> i want them download, install , reboot in selected timeframe.
according description, want schedule installation , reboot wsus clients.
it's ok modify registry keys directly au settings, while if use gpo, we'll more clear see meaning of each polices.
if clients domain joined, may configure gpo, computer configuration>policies>administrative templates>windows components>windows update.
in "automatic updates", choose option 4, configure scheduled day , install time. if don't want computer restart when there logged on users, may enable "no auto-restart logged on users scheduled automatic updates installation".
if clients not domain joined, may use local group policy configure it.
after configuring gpo, run gpupdate /force apply policy.
best regards,
anne
